Garden Street Iron & Metal Recycling U-Pull-It Expansion (2015 - 2016)

Keene Development provided site engineering and construction management for approximately 15 acres expansion of an existing junkyard in the City of Fort Myers, preparing PUD zoning applications and all site design documents, also providing expert testimony at public hearings before city of Fort Myers Planning Board and Fort Myers City Council, and served as the general contractor for approximately $3.5 million in constructed improvements.

Key West Express Terminal Facility (2009)

Successfully completed construction management of a 2.6 acres parcel to be used as docking and passenger facilities for high speed ferry from Fort Myers Beach to Key West, Florida. Project consisted of managing site development of 250 space parking area and right of way improvements, underground utilities, and landscaping. Also provided design build services for the remodeling of existing 2,100 SF building for new administrative and ticketing offices. Major accomplishments included complete redesign of utilities and off site turn lane improvements, and amended zoning and development approvals to adjust for change in FEMA flood plain designation.

Garden Street Iron & Metal Recycling Automobile Shredder Plant Expansion (2007 - 2009)

Provided construction management and design build services for a $17 million, 10 acre heavy industrial Brownfield redevelopment site on Metro Parkway in Fort Myers. Project consisted of approximately 8 acres of concrete surface capping, installation of utilities, surface water management and groundwater remediation systems, construction of heavy foundations for shredder hammer mill, in feed conveyor and metal shred separation plant. Design build services included a multistory electrical control, hydraulic, and drive motor building, and a multistory administrative office and scale house building. Major accomplishments included coordinating the design and installation of 2.1 million pound combined drive motor and hammer mill plinths and foundations over auger cast pilings, and detailed contouring of concrete yard to direct stormwater runoff to recovery and re-use system.

Page Field Plaza (2004)

A 50,000 SF retail, office and warehouse condominium project located near the intersection of US 41 and Boy Scout Road. Conceived, purchased, designed, entitled, constructed, and marketed project. Organized Limited Liability Company for project financing. Final project value in excess of $7 million.

Dairy Queen Grill and Chill (2003 - 2008)

Assisted restaurant developer in the site selection, design, and entitlement of five restaurant sites in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Lee County. Duties included development feasibility analysis on potential site throughout Lee County, site contract negotiations, site design and permitting. Major accomplishments include successfully lobbied the City of Fort Myers to amend it Land Development Code with respect to platting requirements and successfully lobbied the City of Cape Coral to amend its development codes to modify the allowable uses in the Corridor Zoning district along Pine Island Road.
